THE DOORWAY IS BACK FROM 3 MONTHS “ON THE STREET”
Calgary – June 15, 2009 - On Sunday January 11, THE DOORWAY, a non-profit organization supporting
young people in their transition from the street to mainstream living, suffered significant smoke
damage due to a major fire in a restaurant connected to their location at: #10, 2808 Ogden Road SE,
Calgary, AB.
Following almost three months of hard work to bring the organization back to life, THE DOORWAY is
now open once again.

Local non-profit supporting Calgary youth in transition closed due to smoke damage
Calgary, AB (January 27, 2008) - Smoke damage from a fire in a neighbouring business has temporarily
closed the doors of THE DOORWAY, a non-profit organization supporting young people in their
transition from the street to mainstream living. The fire occurred on Sunday, January 11th and staff and
volunteers of THE DOORWAY have been working hard to get the doors open for business again....
